Hi,


the De Havilland DH-111 was a four engined heavy jet bomber project,intended
to compete in B35/46 Spec.,it was based on DH-106 Comet.


Air Pictorial September 1987.

Those bulges at the nose, visible in the top view only, are somehow associated
with the H2S radar ?
 
I don't remenber where I've foud this!!!
But, yes, H2S radar

Strange perhaps,but I have the impression that the canopy
framework is added later on Toura's drawing..

I can't judge my dear Lark,but maybe ?.
 
If one enlarge the drawing you can
clearly see that that cockpit glazing is reworked..

Besides , I think that the whole drawing is put together from
several part drawings..

If Toura ever could find back his source maybe we will learn more..

Yes ! YOUR RIGHT !!

If I look I could see the drawing had 3 parts !
and the drawing of cockpit seems to be a complement
on the original ??????????????

Me who thing that I have a better document!!!

A similar 3-View layout appears in BSP -Jet Bombers since 1949, page 33 along with a fairly lengthy paragraph about it.
Your 3-View appears to be an adaption of what is shown in the book. The caption says it's part of the M J F Bowyer Collection
 
No problem Toura , it was just the text about the cockpit
in te caption with your drawing who made me think about...
