Lovely airplane, beautiful clean cockpit, but somehow the absence of the basic manual backup instruments (ASI, VSI, gyro, sideslip indicator, etc) worries me. For that matter, I've never been completely happy with the two-person cockpit and the absence of the flight engineer - although these days they'd need to know as much about the software as the hardware! Someone needs to be there to fiddle with the bells and whistles (or to draw a gun and shoot the incoming terrorists) while the pilots are doing the flying.

Unfortunetely she took off using other run way far from the gallery.
Many people were very angry with this treatment.

Today 787(JA801A) experienced main landing gear trouble when landing to Okayama airport this morning.
Pilot extended main landing gear using alternate hydraulic system instead of normal electric system.
