Greetings Blackkite!

I said what if, because I have never seen a picture or drawing of the R2Y with swept wings like the model pics that Pacopepe-san posted. Was there a proposal to sweep the wings of the R2Y?

The "R2Y3" is a what if version, mine. ;D .

I hope you like it.

Regards
Fran

TOPIC MOVED.

Please folks... Do NOT mix "what if" creations (yours or other) with genuine information.

If seasoned members can be puzzled... imagine how this can be a major source of confusion for non-specialists.

There is a "User artwork" and a "Theoretical" section in this forum... Please use them!

Pacopepe,

Yes, I like it very much. The R2Y looks very good with swept wings. Nice job.

Great model!!

Blackkite, what publication does the last image you posted come from? Kayaba was designing aircraft for the Army, so it's a bit odd to see the Katsuodori underneath a Navy plane. Neverminding that it's all speculation, of course! ;)

Hi!
It's MENG MODEL's Katsuodori description.
