Shadow on The Wall - Work in Progress by Jozef Gatial

this is still only 50% size of original size but due to restriction... No problem to sent original on gmail or so on

I suppose to do this beast, too. With B-70 it will be extra class.

That HW-1 drone design you had... I could imagine if that was grown into a manned vehicle that could takeoff under it's own power and carry a 10,000 pound payload it would have made the B-70 looked trivial.

oldies, oldies, oldies...
I liquidate my old sources and I found these pictures of my very old oil paintings. A-7 Corsair copy is from 1974 and its size is 120x60 cm. I painted is as student and it was only my second picture of aircraft (first one was Catalina, copy of Rewel kitbox). It was era of socialism and I remember I hat to remove my three pictures of planes from student exhibition (Catalina, A-7, F-111). My next picture of plane from other side, Mig I-152, was based on very poor sources (it was year 1975, and I computed some hundreds control points needed for right proportions on slide-rule ) and I didn't present it there. What a pity maybe in that case I had chance for some support from organizers of exhibition

Ar-234C - I don't remember it, really. It could be nice "repaint" it with computer graphics.

TB-3 was poor part of poor collection of 15 paintings of unknown russian projects

P-47 was excellent painting, it is low quality of photo

What next unknown I will find on me?

A slow fly past, turning into the setting sun and the silhouette slowly disappearing then ... ;)

For now I started work on Avro 730 visualization. Pls keep in mind attached picture is from video and is "motion blured". In last days I solved problem with animation of smoke (object controlled by Python were eating free resources plus some other problems). But all needs its time. This first walk-around part long 9 sec will need near to 50 hours of rendering

Hi,

Vue is an extremely slow renderer. The results can look great, but it is not really suited for making animations.
There are a lot of options you can disable to make the renders faster, but it wont match other software.

Cheers,

Rob

I have next renderer Carrara, too very fast but it needs some photo as background. For true landscape scenes, clouds etc. is Vue very realistic

This is still not finished 3D model of CL-288. I have simple sketch and photos of model. But for his bigger brother CL-320 I have only simple sketch. Do you know photos of some CL-320 model?

What is the best environmental software in your opinion? Way back in the day they had World Builder that was pretty good but don't know whatever happened to them.

I still think Vue Infinite or Vue Extreme. Price is little over 1000$ what is very good. Vue Extreme is used as plugin in 3DMax Studio and 3-4 next softwares. What I know World Builder had some limitation. In Vue you can create world as you like. Reality of outdoor scene is outstanding. Of course you pay with speed and needed memory but if you have idea how is rendered single ray in volumed cloud than it will be clear for you. In last versions are particles, too but I have only older version. Maybe later

I wait for better sources and as start for 3D modeling I prefer unknown projects

From other topic:
----------------------
WS-202 (LRI-X): F-108 competitors:

LRI-X, different time:

Boeing Model B-712...
GD/Convair Model 4(any version) or Model ?
Douglas Model D-1???...
Lockheed TDN Model CL-288...(CL-288-1)------CL-320
Martin Model M-302-----Model M-308---Model M-314
McDonnell Model M-36(any version)----or Model M-?
North American Model NA-236------------------------------------------------------Model NA-257/XF-108
Northrop Model N-126....Model N-144----Model N-149---Model N-167(---Model N-176)(?)
Republic Model AP-75

Up to final:

Lockheed TDN Model CL-320
North American Model NA-236
Northrop Model N-149 or N-167(?)

final:
North American Model NA-236(the winner of competition)----late,then Model NA-257/XF-108
Northrop Model N-167.

Can you pls explain me difference between WS-202 and WS-202A. I supposed WS202A was updated WS202 and CL-320, NA-236, N-149(167) were already projected under WS-202A

Was the same weapon system used on Douglas 1355 (type of rockets) used on Cl-288, Boeing 712 etc., too
