Hi,


the Tupolev ANT-53 was a cantilever low-wing four engined transport and
bomber project,designed by Petlyakov,and powered by 4 M-34FRNV engines.

The design of ANT-53 went along with the heavy bomber ANT-42 (TB-7) and, naturally, the design of the first was intended to use many of the technical solutions and the ANT-42 aggregations. The power plant was supposed to be based on the 34FRNV or M-85. A distinctive feature of the project was the large pressurized cabin for the crew and passengers, the creation of which was very problematic by the domestic aviation industry at that time. Conceptually, the aircraft according to the project was close to the American passenger aircraft Boeing 307 "Stratoliner", which was designed using elements of the B-17 bomber. The ANT-53 and Boeing 307 were very similar.

It's little difficult to find ANT-53 model in the bottom picture. ;D
