Both drawings show steam powered aircraft, as the "Wagner R plane" mentioned here :
http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,15020.60.html
It should be noted, that those drawings actually were patent drawings, the numbers were patent numbers.
They are more reflecting Wagners attempt to improve steam propulsion for aircraft, than actual aircraft
projects. BTW, the alternathistory site gives a good translation of the original Luftfahrt International article !

Hi! My guess for aero steam engine layout.
Light side boiler feed water heater may be superheater which heat saturated steam come from steam drum and generate higher temperature superheat steam.

Hi Jens! Steam generator(Boiler or Evapolator) locate right side end.
Discussion between you and I lasting this year, too. ;)
Of course steam turbine recive superheat steam.
Water/Steam flow is as follows.
Steam generator(saturated steam) → Superheater(superheat steam) → Steam turbine → Condensor(steam to water) → Feed water pump →
Steam generator feed water heater → Steam generator → .......
Genarally evaporation need more energy than superheating.

No objection to this cycle ! Which part of the steam generation plant serves which purpose
is hard to determine from that drawing without a dedicated key. Just a remark (which is
mentioned in the translation, too): There was the proposal to power the auxiliary aggregates
with piston engines, which could be used as main propulsion during phases with low power
settings.
Another point, where I honestly still yet wouldn't agree to the interpretation from the Luftfahrt
International issue, is the statement, that those drawings are showing a cantilever low-wing
aircraft. Either the authors have embezzled drawings, or at least parts of them proving that,
or they probably have overstretched their interpretation. Shown was just, what was of importance
for the steam propulsion, nothing else. So, Rudolf Wagner may well have thought of a bi-plane,
but that was of no importance for the patent, so it wasn't shown !
