Rumpler 3C military aircraft 1913 ("Militärtaube")
Rumpler 3F military floatplane 1913 (Taube-type)

The number in front of the letter named the year of the construction.

Found this litttle info from 1918: Rumpler 8C15 und 8C16 only projects.

C-Flugzeug (bewaffneter doppelsitziger Doppeldecker - Aufklärungs-, Bomben- und Schutzflugzeug) means: armed two-seat biplane - reconnaissance, bombing and aircraft protection!!!

Thank you AM .

8C15 (20/12/1918) and 8C16 (14/12/1918) are civil conversion projects of a earlier C. type ( very C I/C IV/C VIII etc like).

8C12 was a C IV prototype with I struts .

All the Rumpler types and the complete history of Rumpler's aviation actvities you can find in the 430 pages of Edmund Rumpler - Wegbereiter der industriellen Flugzeugfertigung by J.A. Kranzhoff (Bernard & Graefe Verlag, Bonn, 2004).
I think, this splendid work is still available.

Hi,

there was also a BRW,Bayerische Rumpler-Werke,if we know its airplanes and Projects, that
will be great.

Bayerische Rumpler-Werke AG in Augsburg were created on Oct. 24, 1916 as a Rumpler subsidiary in Bavaria, with participation of Augsburger Ballon-Fabrik AG August Riedinger. Built the Rumpler C.I and C.IV, and did repair works in 1917-18. First plane delivered on July 1st, 1917.

Thank you my dear Tuizentfloot,

and please can you tell us about Rumpler airplanes and Projects from 1919 to the end, thanks.

My dear hesham, may I refer to my postings of July and August 2015 in the topic Rumpler aircraft and ideas from 1908-1940 (Early aircraft projects).

Rumpler was a very talented designer with a very sad fate. He died before worse could have happened to him...

Oh yes,thank you my dear Tuizentfloot;

and I thought there was a more.
