Hi,


of course we know the Russian designer, J.M. Gakkel,he created the YM,
it was three-engined (one tractor and two pusher) light transport aircraft
project of 1921;

Well I've to say to me he was ironic, but that was just my opinion :) .


My main question about this design is: Why? Why the pusher in the wings when he just can use 3 tractor propellers? Could be interesting to know more about the history of design.

Hi guys,


I am nor ironic,but there is many famous designers in Aviation we must to
know them,and that man design about nine aircraft before this aircraft.

Why do you call it "YM"? It is called the Gakkel X (here "X" as Roman "10")
