New topic from an old isolated post by hesham.

The Gulfstream story started at Grumman, with the straight-wing, twin-turboprop Model G-159 Gulfstream.

Grumman then developed the jet-powered, swept-wing G-1159 Gulfstream II, which was a completely new design, but eventually relinquished the design and production rights to the newly-formed Gulfstream Aerospace. Gulfstream then developed the G-II into a highly successful family of high-end business jets, the Gulfstream III, Gulfstream IV and Gulfstream V.

Initially Gulfstream also acquired American Jet Industries products such as the Hustler and the Peregrine, but nothing came of either.

Hi,

I will speak about that company in details later, specially its final series (from G-100 to
G-550).
