Looks to be in the same class as the Sepecat Jaguar.

Yes, but Grot was to be much smaller - total weight (as calculated) less than 5000 kg (Jaguar up to 15.500 kg). Maybe closer analog would be T-38/F-5.

Here you've got some drawings of the M-16 trainer/ground attack aircraft that was designed in 1973 in the WSK Mielec by a team led by Edward Margański (Source: "Skrzydlata Polska" December 2021).

Known specifications:
Span: 8.2 m
Length: 13.8 m
Height: 3.7 m
Wing Area: 17 m2
2 engines 1500-1800 kp each (with afterburner) of an unspecified type - an indigenous project based upon the SO-1/SO-3 that powered the TS-11 Iskra or a Viper 600-series.
Armament: 2 GSh-23 two-barrelled cannon in the wings (near the fuselage) plus four hardpoints under wings (it's remain unclear if there was a hardpoint under the fuselage).

The aircraft apparently was to be a Polish equivalent of the Yugo-Romanian Orao.
