North American NA-239 "SAC-Bomber" for WS-110A

No:7 is the North American contender for the WS-110A. I just checked the book and although it goes into detail about the floating wings method to extend range, nothing more about its designation is stated.

that is the NAA original study for Weaponsystem-110A
this design is insane one
most of time it's fly subsonic like B-52
if they got the attack order, they jettison the outer wings and jet-fuel tanks (there in size of a B-47)
now with trapezoidal wing it dash with mach 3 to enemy targets on HEF (Zip) fuel
General Le May was not impress of this "Hell This isn't a Airplane, it's a Three-ship formation!"
and NAA overwork the design to B-70

Hi! design plan 1, 2 and 3.
Trere are some difference between design plan 2 and 3.
For example......
(1)Canard shape.
(2)Jettisonable tank shape and wing span.
(3)Cockpit shape.
(4)Number of engine.(Perhaps plan 3 has 6 engines, and plan 2 has four engines)
Plan 1 and plan 2 are almost same shape, but plan 2 external wing span is large.
