Great find my dears Jemiba and Stargazer.

As I was going through the few "goodies" (brochures, leaflets and such) collected at Le Bourget, I came across a nice folder full of Adcom spec sheets...

Here is the YABHON-GRN 1 and YABHON-GRN 2 :

Here is a PDF file about the Iranian Sahi UAV (actually more of a man-launched Mini-UAS):
http://mohammad-rezaie.persiangig.com/Conceptual%20Design.pdf

Should it remain in this thread? Or be moved to the "Theoretical" section? It appears to be a student project as it emanates from the Amirkabir University of Technology (Teheran Polytechnic).

That Iranian Sahi UAV, looks like little more than a rather poor facsimile of the Israeli 'Skylark' platform. Doubtless also lacking the high quality systems that make a UAV into a UAS (note the 'S', denoting 'system')...

Have you only so much as looked into the PDF file? If you did you'd see that the reference to the Skylark is there, along with photos...

From what I understand, the Iraqis worked on turning L-39s and Mig-21s into drones, ostensibly for use as chemical weapons dispensers. Can anyone provide more info on this?

Yes L-29 were supposed to attack Israel with chemicals during ODS.
Like many threats from Saddam Hussein and his crew, nothing much materialized.

From Global Security:

And nice additional information from Inverse:
https://www.inverse.com/article/104...oked-up-drone-fleet-h-over-isis-and-china/amp
Thank you! I had also been curious about the helicopter-based system. I haven't been able to find a photograph of the MiG-21 rpv.
this shows a number of other drone systems Iraq possessed at the time that were under suspicion.
