The NV-1, first flown in September 1933, was one of the smallest Soviet aircraft (with folded wings, its size was only 4.25x1.8 m) and probably the fastest with 100-hp M-11 engine.
NV-1 technical data:
Length - 4.25 m
Wing span - 6.4 m
Wing area - 6.85 m2
Empty weight - 350 kg
Takeoff weight - 510 kg
Maximum speed - 232 km/h
Landing speed - 95 km/h
Here you can see an excellent 1/72 model of the NV-1, built from Prop-n-Jet kit by Eugene Knupfer aka Koshker - a highly talented modeler from Israel:

I attach here two other photos of his model, together with the I-15 (which is not the largest aircraft itself ) and with the Hurricane - both in the same scale. These photos clearly represent NV-1 diminutive size.
