I missed this one at Paris Le Bourget last year, however waiting outside Hall 4 I took pics of this :)

Here's a link to a Flight global article and video http://www.flightglobal.com/articles/2010/06/07/342861/ila-eads-unveils-hybrid-eco-helicopter-concept.html

Very interesting concept, hybrid diesel/electric power and the possibility of quiet take off and landing on battery power.

I am no accoustics expert but I am pretty sure that the majority of noise from a helicopter comes from the rotors. Especially the high frequency of the tail rotors and the constant cutting of the main rotors tip vortices.
When you hear a Chinook flying, what do you hear?

There was a bit of speculation on MP.net during the recent Stealth Helicopter furlore about wether some of that tech had been used by our mystery chopper.

She's flown today ,

Cheers

From the AHS vertiflite magazine, September/October 2015:
( Thanks for the close-up of the little witch, couldn't recognise it very well on the photos I had then.
Maybe I'll improve that logo later )

Superb photo's! Thank you for sharing. I wonder how much noise and drag reduction comes from the fully faired rotor head? The maintainer in me is grumpy at all the extra work to get to the head.

Nice info graphic:

Seems like the Peugeot design team gave also some input to the styling of this one! ;)
